About Us

Olde Kilkenny Pub

Olde Kilkenny Pub is Milford NH's local craft beer bar and restaurant. We are locted steps from the oval on Middle St. It's the place where locals meet up to chat, play pool, bar games, watch sports, and try new and exciting craft beer. Our draught beer selection includes 50 taps, with nearly half of them constantly rotating high quality craft selections. The craft beer selection here at the pub is unrivaled in this area of the state.

Some history on our location and building....

The pub is located in an 1855 renovated work space built by one of the first Irish settlers in Milford, James Shanahan. The building itself was moved to the lot on the corner of Putnam and Middle streets in 1869 and became a blacksmith shop in 1873.

In 1912, May Burnham Richardson purchased the blacksmith shop and renovated it into a theatre named The Star Theatre. Sice then, it has served as a printing press shop, and was subsequently renovated into a local public house. In 2010, it began it's transformation into one of NH's premier craft beer bars.
